The US Open is a two-week tournament that bridges summer and fall. In addition to a seasonal right of passage, it's a destination event on par with any major sporting event in the U.S. The Open draws fans from across the globe to see their countrymen compete on the biggest stage in tennis. For tennis fans, it's two weeks of bliss. Based on ticket prices, though, the difference between week one and week two is night and day, literally.
